A toothache is usually caused by a large cavity or an infected tooth. As a cavity gets bigger, it gets closer to the nerve (pulp) of the tooth, causing serious pain.

If you’re experiencing pain, it’s important to call Northside Dental right away for help. We offer  treatments such as fillings, crowns, and root canal therapy to get you out of pain, repair your tooth, and prevent further complications.

Chipped, cracked, or broken teeth can happen for a variety of reasons. It’s important to see a dentist right away for evaluation. Even if the crack or chip doesn’t seem bad, it may be more extensive than it looks, and could cause further complications if care is delayed.

A knocked out tooth is an emergency that requires immediate care, but the most important thing to do is remain calm. Give us a call right away to schedule a same-day appointment. In the meantime, make sure you only handle the knocked-out tooth by its chewing surface instead of the root. Also, keep the tooth in a cup filled with saliva or milk as this will help preserve the cells on its surface. You can also keep your tooth in your mouth between your gums and cheek, but be careful not to swallow it. Bring your tooth with you to your appointment and Dr. Durner will do his best to save it.

A loose or broken filling or crown is a serious dental emergency. If your dental work becomes loose or damaged, your tooth is at risk and vulnerable to cavities, infection, and further breakage.

Getting your filling or crown replaced ASAP is critical, so contact us for an emergency appointment right away.
